The rapid growth in data volume is prompting IT organizations to store data in the cloud.
As a mature infrastructure application, the use of storage appliance will become a common approach for implementing storage services vs. custom build. We introduce the concept of cloud plug-in to rapidly incorporate power management capabilities in a pre-existing storage solution.
