Upgrades Available
For the Intel® 4 Series Chipset Family, two types of Manageability Upgrades are available
Level I Manageability Upgrade
for certain Intel® Q45 Express chipset-based
systems which upgrades the system from Standard Manageability to full Intel®
Active Management Technology (AMT) version 5.x on systems using a non
Celeron® processor. (Note: Systems using an Intel® Core™2 processor with vPro™
technology* already have full Intel AMT v5.x).
Level III Manageability Upgrade
for certain Intel® B43 Express chipset-based
systems which adds Intel® Standard Manageability, Fast Call for Help, and Intel®
Remote PC Assist Technology (RPAT) with any supported processor other than an
Intel® Celeron® processor.

Can you upgrade?
PROBLEM | How can I determine if I have an upgrade available? |
RESOLUTION | Browse to http://Upgrades.Intel.com (the Marketplace) from the system you would like to upgrade or check for an upgrade and in the left Navigation Menu, click the ‘Check Upgradability’ link. Press the ‘Download Now’ button.
