Recently, several issues were identified when manually creating Platform collections and Platform Sub-Collections within the Intel SCS 5.x Graphic User Interface (GUI).

Issues:

1. Regardless of hierarchical level, Platform collections and Sub-collections must have unique names.

2. When creating profiles or a platform collection, the toolbar items under the File menu disappear until the SCS console is exited and re-entered.

3. When cloning profiles, platform collections and sub-collections cannot be automatically generated.

4. Platform Sub-collections must not be created at the same time as the Platform Collection. You must exit and re-enter the console prior to creating the sub-collections or they will not remain visible.  Creating them at the same time will cause them to disappear after exiting and reentering the console and cannot be recreated with the same name.

5. The list of platform collections displayed is not the same if you launch the SCS Console from different computers.
