This article details a simple, alternative procedure to request and install an AMT provisioning certificate from one of the external certification authorities i.e. VeriSign, GoDaddy, Comodo or Starfield.

The resulting trusted certificate can be installed on the Microsoft SCCM OOB Service Point in order that the client certificate hashes available within Intel® vPro™ Active Management Technology (AMT) firmware will support zero touch configuration or in-band provisioning.
