Troubleshooting the Top Error Messages (1650, 1301, 332, 2004, 1654, 900, and 2003)

1650The provisioning process has failed. Please contact support.
Cause:

A networking issue has interrupted the provisioning processes.

Solution:
  1. Re-try downloading the app again.
  2. If the error occurs again contact AppUp Customer Support.
1301Can not get outdated apps.
Cause:

The updated app installer is returning an error after it sees that there's a previous version already installed.

Solution:
  1. Uninstall the old app, that you're trying to upgrade.
  2. Using the AppUp center, re-download and install the app.  The latest version of the app will be available in the store.
332We are sorry, your request could not be completed. Please try restarting. If the problem persists, please contact support.
Cause(s):

Solution:
  1. AppUp is supported on Microsoft Windows 7* (32 & 64 bit) and Microsoft Windows XP* (32 bit).  For a full list of supported Operating Systems see our System Requirements.
  2. If your Operating System is supported please contact AppUp Customer Support for assistance troubleshooting the Microsoft* WMI service.
2004The application installation failed. Please download the application to try installing it again.
Cause:

The app's installer has reported an error.

Solution:
  1. Re-try downloading the app again.
  2. If the error occurs again contact AppUp Customer Support.
1654The provisioning process has failed. Please contact support.
Cause:

Most of the time this is due to a problem assigning "entitlement" of the app to the user's account.

Solution:
  • Entitlement must be manually assigned for the application. Contact AppUp Customer Support. They will escalate your issue.
900An error happened when the store tried to access local resources. Please contact support.
Cause:

AppUp center was unable to access a needed file on the user's computer.  This can be caused by a corrupted file or insufficient privileges.

Solution:
  1. Close all open applications.
  2. Reboot your computer.
  3. Log into AppUp center.
  4. If the error occurs again contact AppUp Customer Support.
2003The application installation failed. Please download the application to try installing it again.
Cause:

The Microsoft Windows 7* User Account Control (UAC) notice was not acknowledged within 2 minutes.

Solution:
  1. Re-download the application from within the AppUp store.
  2. When the download is complete look in the Windows Taskbar for the flashing UAC message.
  3. Click on the UAC message.
  4. Accept the installation.
