Quick Start Guide (General) View Document

Specific client management consoles are not discussed, and may be better addressed by the respective vendors or the consoles.

Altiris: Installing Multiple SCS Components for a Large NS Environment View Document

• Some Notification Servers carry huge loads of managed systems. Some Notification Servers manage 10,000, 15,000, and even 20,000 plus systems. For Out of Band Management with the Intel SCS Component, a multiple-service install may be required to handle large loads of provisioning or maintenance requests into the Intel SCS Component. This article covers how to setup such an environment.

Provisioning Tools

Setup and Configuration Services (SCS) View Document

• SCS provides developer or ISV with the tools to set up and configure Intel AMT devices. The SCS allows for most aspects of setup and configuration to be completed through a remote management console. It supports end user environments that implement TLS security and a DHCP network. The service package consists of a configuration engine and installer in binary form, plus a reference graphical user interface that the ISV may integrate into their own software.

SCS Setup Wizard View Document

• SCS Setup Wizard is a tool designed to automate the installation of the Intel® Setup and Configuration Service (SCS) along with the third party pre-requisite components automatically. This is a pre-release alpha level project that will be updated soon.

Intel AMT Developer Toolkit (aka Commander)View Document

• This is a set of tools to help designers, developers and testers understand the benefits of Intel AMT and assist in the development and testing of Intel AMT applications. The DTK runs on Microsoft® Windows .NET 2.0 environment and offers a set of tools to quickly make use of all of the features of Intel AMT through the use of a simple developer oriented user interfaces. Included in the DTK is a sample, developer oriented console and agent along with a set of tutorial videos to help understand how the DTK works and how it can be best used to assist in the development of new applications. The DTK is an excellent complement to the Intel AMT Software Development Kit (SDK) to maximize developer productivity.

USB Key Provisioning Utility View Document

• The UKPU tool is designed to create a valid USB key for provisioning Intel® AMT Systems. The tool has a 'repair' mode that allows you to take an existing USB Key and reconstruct it to ensure the setup.bin is visible to Intel® AMT. In addition, you can set up a USB Key using any renamed setup.bin file on your computer, and the tool will automatically ensure it is renamed to 'setup.bin' when setting up the key.

Intel® AMT Reflector View Document

• The Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) Reflector consists of a client and server application that allows users to perform basic operations with the Intel® AMT device hosted on their PCs without requiring a management console.

Remote Configuration Tool(RCT)View Document

• This is a client-based tool that captures platform information and sends it directly to the Intel Setup and Configuration Service (SCS). RCT is run on Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) systems to enable the Intel SCS to configure the systems remotely.
