Quick answer - the LMS-SOL driver install adds the following directory
C:Program FilesIntelAMT
In that directory are some REG files - the one labeled "disable" will remove the atchk.exe from running at Microsoft Windows startup.
The drivers are still needed - yet the pop-up dialogue will be removed.
