I am trying to locate the origional version of LANDesk w/ Device view that Intel used to offer, if you can direct me to a copy it would be great.Have a client that refuses to upgrade from an old 510T switch but they lost the software disk that came with it in 1999.

Vpro MSCCM Certificate Question

Hi,

I have Question about MSCCM and Vpro.

Is ti possible to create certificate with custom security settings in MS windows 2003 Standart edition Certification authority.

I want to start to use vpro features, but didn`t want to buy MS windows 2003 Enterprise edition to use Vpro functionality in MSCCM.

SOL giving the client monitor a black screen.

The provisioned machine are not able to execute any function from the Out of Band Management Console, when I run any SOL command the monitor will just show a white cursor on the screen. The power control for out of band management are working fine. Below are the screenshots for my problem, does anyone have any idea what causing this?

When execute any command from here the system will reboot and the system just freezed. The monitor gives a black screen with a cursor on it.

SMS 2003 Add-On + SMB Mode - Is remote management possible?

Hi All.

My environment:

SMS 2003 SP3 + AMT Add-On 5.0.2.8 (No SCS)

Single test PC, HP DC7900 provisioned in SMB (Basic?) mode

I have the SMS Add-On configured with the username and password set up on the test PC. I can web browse to the AMT page on the test PC and the credentials I configured work. Power management etc. works as expected.

My question:

When I try to examine the PC using the SMS console the only option available is to check if the PC is AMT enabled (which when I choose the option reports that the machine is enabled for AMT). Is this expected behaviour? Should I be able to inventory, reset etc with this set-up or do I need a full SCS installation and Enterprise type provisioning? I've spent some time browsing various PDFs but nothing I've read gives an explicit answer.

AMT 3.2.1 provisioning with SCCM SP1

Last week, I freshed some Lenovo KTM8000 vpro machines to AMT 3.21 and provisioning with SCCM SP1. Some of them was successfully provisioned with SCCM SP1, but some of them in SCCM SP1 were showed "detected" and "Unprovisioned". Why same configuration make it difference? what I need to do?

After register the SMS server as the AMT machines PET alert listener, the pop-up window said the alert will send to SMS log, but there are too many logs under SMS/LOG, which log will contain the PET alert?

SCCM OOB console issue on remote SCCM console

We successfully provision AMT machine with SCCM and can use SCCM OOB console to manage AMT machine on SCCM server. But we found that we can't use OOB console on remote SCCM console to connect same AMT machine. The status indicate connecting with long time and then disconnted. What's problem on remote SCCM console? Do we need do a special configuration for remote OOB console on remote SCCM console? But strange thing is that I can remote power-on/off/restart AMT machine on remote SCCM console. Of course, it's not done in OOB console.
