Intel VT-x virtualization + Sun VirtualBox

I want to install a 64bit operating system to Sun's VirtualBox. It is mandatory to check VT-x/AMD-V under General setting, otherwise the 64bit guest will fail to detect the cpu and won't be able to boot. I checked that, but after trying to boot VirtualBox says that VT-x hardware acceleration has been enablet, but is not operational. It says that this feature should enabled in BIOS. However, there are no settings in my BIOS that could enable it and my vendor was not quite helpful. Is there any other way enable it or the BIOS is the only solution?

When I get into intel ME (bios) after entering the password,

It asks me to make a new defult password, but when I do the password is rejected.

It won't let me do anything except make a password or leave, please help

Forgetting your Windows administrator login password. With no way to get into the system, you can’t even perform basic maintenance, let alone a thorough tune-up. Formatting is always an option, but we consider that a last resort. (Plus, guess who’s going to have to help reinstall all the programs lost after a wipe?) But all hope is not lost. There are a few ways to actually retrieve a lost Windows account password. Read on, and we’ll show you the light.

1st Method:

The first thing which you check if you forget login password. When we install Windows, it automatically creates an account "Administrator" and sets its password to blank. So if you have forget your user account password then try this:

Start system and when you see Windows Welcome screen / Login screen, press ctrl+alt+del keys twice and it'll show Classic Login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in Username and leave Password field blank. Now press Enter and you should be able to log in Windows.

Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".

Same thing can be done using Safe Mode. In Safe Mode Windows will show this in-built Administrator account in Login screen.

2th Method:

There are a lot of Windows password revealers and crackers available.

it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password.

· Smart meter: grid loading optimization—Smart meters encourage end users to adjust daily electricity use and smooth consumption peaks, allowing energy providers to optimize grid loading.

Smart logistics—Monitoring and tracking vehicles and their loads to improve the efficiency of logistics operations by utilizing vehicles more fully:

· Centralized tracking—Wireless vehicle tracking devices feed data to a central fleet management system to optimize speeds and routing (for large freight companies).

· Decentralized tracking—On board tracking devices communicate wirelessly with nearby vehicles to adjust speed and routing (for smaller freight companies).

Hi all, I came across this excellent video from Lenovo on their new SMC product. SMC (stands for Secure Managed Client) is Lenovo’s new alternative Desktop Solution. Lenovo has worked very closely with Intel using Intel’s vPro Technology and Lenovo’s own virtualization technologies. The SMC product is result of several years of innovation and breakthrough in client technology.

SMC is a very simple concept – it’s a PC with remote storage. Hence to the user it is identical to a PC. While designing SMC, Lenovo had 2 goals in mind:

1. Preserve user’s expectation of the PC

2. Cost should be equal or lower than the PC being replaced

l Nowadays the mainstream CPU has been able to satisfy most of the requirements of programs and games. Consumers who have already have computers will not assemble new computers or promote CPU. If there wasn't revolutionary product appearance, the shipments would have gone down steady recent years. During the days on which mainstream computers has satisfied most of the software and many developed countries' per capita possession of computes approaches one hundred percent. How can we increase shipments?
l Compared with notebook, desktop computer is powerful and is able to be assembled of the latest accessories. As terminal entertainment, its unmovable can be neglected. So far, the main problems of desktop are heat, energy consumption, and dust inside, big volume, noise aroused by the board of CPU, and hardware problems caused by dust, heat and shock. If there is a new frame to solve these problems above, can consumer pay for the new frame?

These are the advantages of my frame:

1 Chassis is all closed, without dust, which solves most of the computer problems coursed by dust. Except hardware broken, the chassis needn't opening.

2 No fans, no noises, power saving and environment protection.

3 Board will not change shapes for gravity, loose for shocks, or arouse bad touch. Machines are more durable.

4 Succeeding characteristics of DIY from ATX chassis .Consumers can DIY freely.

5 Super functions on delivering heat, which makes it suitable to use heater CPU. Temperature can be seen whenever it is, which is suitable for over clocking.

6 Power supplier, hardware and CD-ROM which shocks are at the bottom of the chassis, decreasing shocks of the chassis efficiently and making the noise weaker.

7 Memory, hardware...and all the parts on the motherboard can deliver heat efficiently.

8 Shells can be designed with various lower-temperature systems to satisfy different consumer groups.

9 Chassis are more beautiful and styles vary more.

10 CPU and motherboard which needn't too much changing can be put into production and be on listing.

11 Enlarged space of motherboard will contribute to future development.

12 More advantages and concepts will be good for promotion.

13 Provide a new standard. Acquire pays for use of patent from other board manufacturers.

14 No fans on CPU, smaller packaging, lighter weight and lower freight.

15 Board manufacturers only need make products well, not worry about cooling or style of fans.

If the design of the windmill made of metal, Christmas tree can cross over to place, design a swimming pool, golf course ... ... meet the needs of different consumer groups. The replacement of individual users of CPU cycles may be 4-6 years, and personalized cooling equipment replacement cycle will be fast, it is foreseeable that this is a piece of the lucrative market.

This structure has many advantages, in line with the trend of the future development of the computer and personalization. I believe it will set off the launch of a new wave of computer buying.
