I Hate to pull you guys back several years in technology, but I have a Pentium 3 (933/256/133/1.7V) and was wondering if there is any faster cpu I could upgrade it with. I am currently looking at a P3 SL657 1.4Ghz,(1400/512/133/1.45). I would put it in a DELL Dimension 4100, which is software driven. The bios is locked,so I cant change any cpu settings.Would it auto detect and set it to the right voltage? Or would it even work at all?If that cpu won't work than are there any others that would? Any answers would help.
