      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:24a0d66a-720b-4b6b-abdd-47da35171fa1] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi all,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Am new to this forum and have an issue that I'd be grateful for any help on...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've bought the components to build a new PC from scratch.&amp;nbsp; The key ones with regard to my question are:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Board: Intel DZ68DB&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;CPU: Intel i7-2700K&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;PSU: Antec VP650P 650W&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM&amp;nbsp; [Part No.: KHX1333C9D3B1/4G]&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Have correctly seated the board in the case (all nine spacers and screws used; I/O shield installed.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Have seated the CPU and Intel stock heatsink/fan.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Both the board and CPU power connections have been done, including the CPU fan.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Case front panel connected correctly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When powering up, I get no warning tones and no display on my monitor.&amp;nbsp; Nothing else apart from these components is installed and/or powered.&amp;nbsp; The monitor is plugged into the Board's DVI port.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Is the RAM I'm using the problem?&amp;nbsp; I realise that it's not on Intel's official list of tested memory modules but I'm wondering if it simply does not work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any help and suggestions appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many thanks,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Andrew&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Cape Town, South Africa&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:24a0d66a-720b-4b6b-abdd-47da35171fa1] --&gt;</description>
