Hi

It is possible to enforce entering bios settings at startup.

You have to move the configuration jumper from the side it is, to the opposite side of the three pin header.

Then start and modify the bios settings to show F2 F10 F7. in the boot options.

Maybe a good idea is to load default bios settings and then modify only what you need to modify (few items, if no raid, disable intrusion detect).

After that you should put the jumper at normal place.

If your motherboard is a new board it probably has an old version of the bios such as 076.

When you reach the boot options in the bios let enable also F7 option (upgrade bios).

After your system looks in a better condition, you should upgrade the bios to the latest 122 rev. now.

To upgrade with F7 you have to prepare an USB key with BL0122P.BIO file on the root.

Pressing F7 at the splash screen with the key plugged in, then you can easiliy follow the screen indications to uprade the bios.

Select the flash key, then the file, and accept flashing.

After upgrade complete your system will restart itself, maybe two times !

When I boot the machine I could see only the INTEL splash screen without F2 & F5 menu and the boot does not proceed further. Then if we press the restart button to boot, I am able to see the F2 & F5 menu and the system boots fine.

Please help me to make my system boot at the firts time.

Thanks,

Sathya.
