      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:89507081-76f2-40dd-8d9b-cbce617fbcf6] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi ,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; hope someone can help&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We have purchase 2 servers with the exact same specs&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Intel S3420GPLX mainboard&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Intel Xeon X3430 CPU&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Kingston KVR1066D3E7SK2/4GI Ram&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2 x Seagate 1TB SATA ST3100528AS running Raid 1&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2 x Seagate 160GB SATA ST3160318AS running Raid 1&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Window Server 2008 R2 Standard 6.1.7600 BUILD 7600&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Problem we are facing is we keep getting raid set degraded error,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;we have tried updating the bios to but it dont seems to help fix the problem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;we have also change drive with our vendor but the problem still exist.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;we are able to rebuilt the raid without problems but soon after we get the raid failure again.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any advise on what we can do to resolve the issue. It seems you're using an old version of Matrix Storage Console utility. Please install the recent version of the &lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&amp;amp;DwnldID=18055" target="_blank"&gt;utility&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. The hard drives you're using are not tested or validated on S3420GP. It's always recommended to pick hard drives from the &lt;a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/s3420gp/sb/CS-030737.htm" target="_blank"&gt;Tested hardware list&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Check your chassis for vibration.
