The answer I got was:

““we expect developer kits to be ready for distribution during the first half of Q2, please check with your Intel sales representative for an update”

Everything I have read at the links in the other thread, makes this sound like it will be on hot technology.

Hello everyone!

My name is Mike from ineo Technology. I am the current project marketing manager for ineo, I would like to establish a great business contact for an OEM business. Ineo Technology would like to go on a venture with Intel for Thunderbolt technology because of Apple users, we are a manufacturing company and would like to know costs on chipsets, PCBA's, and additional in dept information on pursuing additional products in this market. We also see that you are partners with LaCie and Promise Technology for their Thunderbolt products, we would like to be an additional prospected partner for this technology.
