Reinstalled OS, and then reinstalled Hyper V. Vola! this time Hardware DEP was turned on!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After this Hyper V was running successfully! The details are as below:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Processor Type: Intel Core i7 CPU 950 @3.07GHz&lt;br/&gt; Board: DX58SO Extreme Series&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BIOS Version: SOX5810J.86A.5200.2010.0414.1420&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;OS: Windows 2008 R2.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have isntalled Hyper-V and I have created a Virtual Machine. When I try to start the VM, it shows error that hypervisor service is not running.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I checking in BIOS setup, and I have enabled the below under security tab.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Intel VT: Enabled&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Intel VT for Directed I/O (VT-d) : Enabled&lt;br/&gt;Interrupt Remmaping: Enabled&lt;br/&gt;FLR Capability: Enabled&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But I still get the error that hypervisior is not running.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;How can I sort out this issue.
