I ran into the same problems with my attempts to install Win7. Eventually I got it install by putting in a separate video card (PCIe). After completing the initial install and updating (video) drivers, I was able to take the separate card out and I have been using the onboard DVI no without issues.

DG43NB: How to Improve Boot / POST Time?

I just got this mobo and I am trying to improve the time from turning the machine on till the OS (Win7 64) starts to load. I am talking about the time that is normally used by the board to run self or memory tests, looks for changes to the devices, etc. Are there any settings I could try to speed up the process.

I am using the latest BIOS (1.05).

DG43NB: Wake Up Command from S5 via PS2 Keyboard Not Working

I just got this mobo and I am trying to set up a S5 wake up command via a PS2 keyboard. As per the BIOS settings I can choose between ‘Alt & PrintScreen’ or the ‘keyboard power button’. Unfortunately, neither command works. Any ideas/suggestions?

I am using the latest BIOS (1.05).
