the leds are red off off red, but two times on last many power on are off red red red.

my suspect is that motherboard is bad and unrecoverable ...sigh

after 3 or 4 years of work, a SR2520 SAXR server system, fail to boot with two reed led on rear !!

this error require a video reset (reference guide) .. but this sound very strange, i need to substitute the main board?

on this system there not any cards.

i try to reset bios but nothing change.

BMC force update procedure solve my problem.

now the system is ok.

two server system based on S5520UR don't boot after update.

no video, none mode to access BIOS or regain control.

all (documented) recovery procedures can repair the system.

after many minutes (15-20) the system load EFI (with this system i can BIOS recovery, but without success)

my suspect is a BMC firmware corruption.

there is a method to recovery BMC firmware?
