its better you download the driver from ASUS website:
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

select the model of your motherboard and get the setup, if u cant download use CD came with your motherboard try using it to install the drivers.

Hi tiagobt,

Did you try the keyboard buttons to change the video outputs? Also see the Intel Display Utility that comes with the driver and also get the latest version of the driver to resolve the HDMI issues

Hi tdubz82,

Nothing to be embarresed about we all face probelms with our computers,

Is it possible to connect two displays with your graphics card at the same time? If not try changing the displays while the PC is with a lower resolution and refresh rate, this problem is due to resolution/refresh incompatiblity of your graphics card and LCD TV..

Also the LCD TV would be having more than one input options namely: DVI, VGA, S-Video etc please see its in correct mode when hooked up with the PC

Hey Daniel,

This could be the issue when the driver was not properly downloaded. Please download the driver for your Laptop again preferably using a download manager.

If issue persists please make sure you are downloading the correct driver.

can u please elaborate. Does your display turns black? or the driver isnt installed? Please make sure you installed the correct display driver from the intel's website, it would be easy if you mention complete name of the chipset .

I think you are using a Low End Motherboard, you have invested healthly on everything sans motherboard, dude if its possible consider a swap with something like the High End Extreme Series Board DX38BT

or for little low price the Media Series Board DG45ID.

..well that's a possible solution there could be more issue that need to be addressed
