We have an interactive software catalog that can help you choose a software vendor based on your needs. Please visit our Intel vPro Activation web site and click on Step 3: Find the Right Software. Once you choose your software, you can proceed to Step 4: Create a Customized Activation Recommendation. That will give you some ideas based on your network setup.

Good morning! The new vPro platform (with Sandybridge) will launch about the week of Feb 21. We'll be posting processor lists and updated docs then - as well as videos and blog posts of new functionality. It's a busy time over here right now! :-)

Check out the Intel vPro Technology Reference Guide. You'll find a feature matrix in one of the Appendices - and there's a lot of good info on the different vPro technologies in the guide.

The account that you mention in your question is our example demo account. You need to have an Active Directory account that has PT Admin rights to configure your Intel vPro clients.

Since you are writing up a report on vPro, you may want to check out a new website that we launched: http://www.intel.com/go/vpro101. If you click "What are the advantages to using Intel vPro Technology," it will display information about the different way you can use vPro - including animations. These can be helpful when trying to explain the benefits of vPro to management.
