I have just removed the installed version and reinstalled this version 15.2.0.19.

I'm using WinXP SP3 on the ASUS notebook N61J.

There are 2 versions on the Intel Download center. and I have used both of these with the same results - auto connecting - disconnecting - reconnecting. And, the speeds are always either 130 or 144 Mb/s, not 300 Mb/.

There is no support from ASUS; I just wanted a 300MHz Wireless & Intel's always performed well.

The Bluetooth has been equally troublesome with the Nokia 6350, when it connect reports "Only audio files will be transferred" followed by "disconnected" about 20 seconds later.

Maybe this device was designed for Windows 7, which my clients and I will moving to in a few months. Maybe I should have purchased a different model such as the N6235, but I'm not sure there are WinXP drivers.

I'm having problems with my new Intel 6230, purchased from Tiger Direct and installed in an ASUS N61J -

The speed shows 130 or 144 Mb/s to a known 300 Mb/s access point. BUT, it keeps closing down every several minutes and then reconnects. Also the Bluetooth has the same problem.

The System is a Windows 7 Professional 64bit

The 2 main internal non-RAID SATA3 6Gbs drivers on are the Marvell Interface (gray ports).

The SATA2 external drive is connected to the Intel SATA controller via a cable to a real panel eSATA connector.

BIOS set to AHCI mode for the Marvell 9128 chip. Tomorrow (Saturday) I hope to download and install the Marvell 9128 SATA interface new AHCI driver available (a Beta version) which you recently tried on your ASUS X58 mother board with the '9128 chip.

When I tried to either UNINSTALL or INSTALL the Intel Intel Matrix Storage Manager Software Version:8.9.0.1023 we get the same error:
"This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"

How do I fix this?

Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E using the SATA3 6G Hard drives (2) (not RAID configured)

The Marvell 91xx SATA6G controller fails to detect any external SATA II drives when they are plugged in so hot swap is not working. What is the problem?

I have searched ASUS and many Internet discussion groups without successful results. Most say it will work with the Intel chipset driver 9.2.0.1025, hot swap recognition still fails.
