This appears to be an Intel Only Issue. I Have multiple AMD Systems that do not have this issue. I will a BIOS Reset (FLASH) and Update and see if the problems resolves.

Also, there is a initialization delay when leaving post to Windows 7.

Boot Failure when using 2 DVD Writers

I have an Intel DP46SG MB. Initially, it only had a USB DVD Drive attached. However, I now need dual DVD's (for mapping software). If I install one DVD Writer, no problem. But, when I install the second one, I get a boot failure error.

I've never seen this before. The BIOS reads SATA as ACHI. I cannont swith to IDE unless I re-install the OS. So Is this Windows (WIN 7 PRO x64 installed), or Is this an Intel Issue.

btw, I have an Gigybte MB (AMD 965 X4, 8GB DDR3) using SATA II Blu-Ray and Sep DVD Writer.

Confused Eternet Port on DP45SG and Vista64 Business

I have an interesting problem. For reasons only known to God, my Ethernet port simply quit working. Before going to work in the morning, it worked fine. I turned off the PC. When I returned home, I turned on the PC and, to my surprise. I had no internet connection, not even local access. I did all the usual stuff and nothing worked. I have another PC using Vista Ultimate 32, and it did not have a problem. So, I connected a TrendNet USB Ethernet Adapter and VIOLA, I have an internet connection. Now, I’m confused as to why the onboard Ethernet port refuses to reset. Vista does not afford me the ability to literally re-assign the card any parameters as they are automatically re-set this confusing mix of private settings. (see ipconfig /all below).
