      <title>Intel-Pro 2200BG wireless network connection failures</title>

      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:da9e590f-f5c2-4c46-8c1b-aba3126f0163] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am running a Lenovo R50e several years old, purchased new, with an Intel 2200BG network card, with WinXP-SP3.&amp;nbsp; I have started having trouble maintaining a connection to various wireless hubs.&amp;nbsp; I know the various wireless access points are working fine, as I am able to connect, using either the Win connection utility, or an application native to the IBM/Lenovo.&amp;nbsp; The problem that I experience is that the connection is dropped after minutes; sometimes just a few seconds.&amp;nbsp; I check my services and find that my Wireless Zero Configuration service has stopped.&amp;nbsp; I have gotten the most recent version of drivers and related utilities from Lenovo, but there is no change, so have excluded that possible cause.&amp;nbsp; Hardware failure?&amp;nbsp; Something in a patch to WinXP?&amp;nbsp; Poltergeists?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;THANX for any ideas of what to do, or how to better diagnose.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:da9e590f-f5c2-4c46-8c1b-aba3126f0163] --&gt;</description>
