IT'S WORKING!

Ok. Here is what I did to get my SS4200-E sending emails. This may not be the only way, but this is what worked for me. There is no need to have an email server running on your network and relay emails out from the server to the internet. The server can do it all by its self.

1. I turned off the automatic network settings mode and put in all of my IP and DNS settings. I got the appropriate settings by going to my command line on my computer and running ipconfig /all.

2. I set up a new email account with my ISP, Cox.

3. In the email notifications area of the server, I entered in all of the important email information for my new email account in the additional information area.

4. That's it.

I was unable to use Gmail, or any other email account in the begining for the account. The only email account that worked for me was the new Cox email account. It must have something to do with Cox I guess.

In any event, I hope this helps someone else.

For example, the destination is xxx@yyy.com, we will try to use “yyy.com” to send the emails.
