Hi,

Based on what you've described, I'd recommend the following:

1. Just to be 100% sure, ensure the Corsair* memory is 1.5v., as the CPU itself is not tolerant to higher than 1.5v.:

http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-029913.htm#4

2. Make sure the power supply is 460 W., at least, as this is the minimum the Intel(R) Desktop Board DH67BL supports; see page 55 of the Technical Product Specification:

http://downloadmirror.intel.com/19487/eng/DH67GD_DH67BL_TechProdSpec.pdf

Hi,

I confirm when removing a PCIe* video card, any of the 3 video ports (up to two) on the back of the board should start working automatically. Hence, based on the troubleshooting you've described, I'd suggest trying with the most current 0057 BIOS (click here).

Note: Once the update is done, please, restart the system into BIOS and proceed as follows:

1. Press <F9> to restore BIOS default settings.

2. Reset any customized BIOS settings.

3. Clear all DMI event logs by setting the option to "Enable", which is located in the Configuration/Event Log section of the BIOS Setup utility.

4. Finally, press <F10> to save the new settings and reboot the system, and test.

Re: Computer won't boot with new memory

Hi,

If the BIOS does see the 16 GB. total memory, it theoretically means there's no BIOS or hardware problem. Before trying the BIOS, though, in respect to "computer won't boot [with the 4 Patriot* 4-gig 800 MHz. memory modules]", I'd recommend the following:

1. Since the board provides support for DDR2 800 MHz DIMMs with SPD timings of only 5-5-5 or 6-6-6 (tCL-tRCD-tRP) (click here), see to it that your Patriot memory does comply with this.

2. If the memory does comply, then, proceed as follows:

2.1. Having the minimum memory configuration, reboot the system into BIOS.

2.2. Once in the BIOS setup utility, press <F9> to restore BIOS default settings.

2.3. Reset any customized BIOS settings.

2.4. Clear all DMI event logs by setting the option to "Enable", which is located in the Advanced/Event Log Configuration section of the BIOS Setup utility.

2.5. Finally, press <F10> to save the new settings and reboot the system.

3. Then, if the above does not yet help, then, updating the BIOS would be next; however, as there is a lot of age difference between version 0051 and the latest, we would recommend doing the update one up to 0107 five versions at a time, at least.

Clear the event log and load the BIOS default settings:

1.1. Once in the BIOS setup utility, press <F9> to restore BIOS default settings.

1.2. Clear all DMI event logs by setting the option to "Enable", which is located in the Advanced/Event Log Configuration section of the BIOS Setup utility.

1.4. If the situation with the external PCIe* RAID controller card persists, reboot the system into BIOS once again, and make sure "Expansion Card Text" option is enabled. This is found in BIOS, under the "Security" tab.

Hope that helps!
