But even if it were, I cannot imagine how could if fix a forzen "50" post code before boot.

Unfortunately, I cannot even boot the OS while the card is plugged in.

I'm sorry for not replying this long – unfortunately, I was not able to deal with this problem last week.

Now, the computer is on my desk and I must solve this problem by thursday.

Meanwhile, the things have changed. I replaced the PSU with a new one, more powerful, because the old one was too weak. I thought this might solve the problem, but nothing changed.

And, I don't know why, but now I even cannot boot when the card is inserted in the motherboard. I can enter the BIOS (after waiting for a minute or two) and I can see the card in BIOS ("Boot" tab --> "Hard Drive Order") but during boot-up process, after RAID window disappears and blue Intel screen appears, the "50" post code appears in lower right corner and it hangs there forever (Intel says "50" means "Enumerating PCI busses"). I’ve waited for more than 10 minutes and nothing happened (it didn't continue with the boot).

If the card is not plugged in, the computer boots normally.

I must say one more time that I've tried to insert the controller into another MBO (old MSI MBO) and it works great there.

Do you have any idea what should I do?

If so, please help!

I see it in device manager (drivers needed), but I haven't installed the drivers yet because I want to solve this problem first cause it seems that the card is not installed correclty.

Hello everybody.

I have a problem with DP45SG motherboard.

It is switched to RAID (in BIOS) and it has only one graphic card inserted into PCI x16 slot and one Promise FastTrak TX2300 SATA II controler inserted into PCI slot.

The problem is that I don't see Promise onboard BIOS (as if it does not exist).

The RAID configuration appears but the Promise onboard BIOS does not appear.

I've tried to insert the controller into another MBO (old MSI MBO) and it works great there.

I've also tried to insert the controller into different PCI slots but with no luck.

Do you have any idea how to solve this?
