Hi,

Driver version (8.15.10.2656) for Windows 7* 64-bits (15265) is a generic graphics driver, if it is not working properly with your system, I recommend you using the driver released by your OEM manufacturer (e.g Asus, MSI), these drivers have been customized according your system specifications.

Regarding with your inquiry the latest Intel graphics drivers provide support for OpenGL version 3.0. already.

This is the list of tested games for the 2^nd generation of Intel graphics controllers, IL2 Cliffs of Dover is not included in that list however probably it will be included with the 3^rd generation of Intel graphics controllers:

Intel chipsets with integrated graphics do not support full scene anti-aliasing. Anti-aliased lines are supported in OpenGL* applications or through the game settings only.

2^nd generations of Intel graphics controllers do support DirectX* 10.1:

Hi,

On Windows 7 there are no issues because RAID drivers have been installed properly, this happens with Windows XP because RAID drivers have not been installed yet.

We do know that Microsoft* Windows* XP requires a floppy device to successfully load a mass storage driver during installation.

Since there are no floppy drives anymore a USB floppy drive should be used instead to successfully load mass storage drivers during the Microsoft Windows* installation process. Then again, a problem like the one you describe may occur since some USB floppy disk drive models are not supported during the Microsoft* Windows* XP installation.

This issue occurs if the USB floppy disk drive ID is not listed in the 'txtsetup.sif' file. For more details on this issue and information on compatible USB floppy drives, please refer to the following link:

You can also try slipstreaming the RAID drivers to the Windows* XP installation disk:

NOTE: Keep in mind that this is a process that Intel does not support, therefore if you need further advice about the slipstreaming process, check different online resources.

Additionally I do not recommend you clicking on "Clear and reset disk" while using XP, this could erase your data, you can confirm this by accessing the Option Rom with CTRL-I during the booting process, there you can confirm if the RAID structure is normal or not.

Hi,

Your case is very unusual because once the OS has been installed by using RAID the system should not boot if you change the SATA controller to ACHI .

If your motherboard had randomly booting issues then I recommend you testing the different devices individually in order to avoid future problems (e.g. power supply, ram, etc..) additionally you may considering a bios update to your motherboard as well.

As you mentioned the only way to get access to the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology and Intel(R) Smart Response Technology again will be reinstalling the OS since the scratch selecting RAID, I recommend you using the F6 drivers in case you have not installed them the first time.

Hi,

This feature is not available through the graphics driver options available, the only way to do this would be customizing the driver through a Field Application Engineer (FAE).

However in your case due your system has switchable graphics I recommend you contacting the system manufacturer because the Intel graphics driver has been customized according the equipment specifications.

Hi,

It may work if you plug this HDD to another system with an active OS as a different drive, this way maybe you can access the data at least.

However if you need to boot from this HDD, you will require a motherboard with the same chipset and it should be configured as RAID as well.
