The Angry Birds app is developed by Rovio (http://www.rovio.com/*). Intel
provides the Intel AppUp® center for customers to download apps
to run on their netbooks or PCs, and for developers to sell or distribute their
apps such as Rovio does with Angry Birds. However, Intel does not have access to
the software code for apps and cannot make changes to the app, fix problems with
the app, or enhance the app. If the app is not running and you would like to
troubleshoot an app issue, please contact the app developer. For Angry Birds,
you can contact the Rovio support team by sending an email to support@rovio.com.

Intel’s validation process checks several key areas
for all apps (e.g. installation, security, functionality, etc.) to reduce the
risk of issues encountered by our customers. Unfortunately, all possible
hardware/software configurations cannot be validated and some customers may see
issues. Intel will allow you to get a refund within 24 hours of purchasing the
app if the app does not run on your PC or netbook for whatever reason. Intel
cannot fix the app for you, but we can make sure you do not have to pay for app
that does not work. In addition, Intel will also post a list of known issues if
we have them for a specific app. This known issues list works for most people,
but certainly not everyone. If the app does not work for you but you wish to
keep the app and troubleshoot the issue, please contact the app developer.

Intel AppUp(R) Center Refund Policy

Some versions of the Store offer a one-time limited time trial period (“the Trial Period”) on all Application transactions (excluding In-app Content). If you are using Store version 3.6 or later, all of your purchases will be final. If you are using Store version 3.5 or earlier, you will have the following benefits of a limited-time Trial Period. During such Trial Period you may use the Application and if you decide not to complete the purchase of the Application you may log in to the Store; (ii) go to Transaction History (click on your user name at the top and go to the transaction history tab) and (iii) for the Application you want to return, click Options, select Cancel Purchase and submit the cancellation. Upon cancellation, your method of payment will not be charged. Access to the Store is your responsibility and the only way to utilize this return policy is through the Store. Intel is not responsible for any inability to access the Store or any delay in transmission during the Trial Period after you click “Buy” for an Application. You may only use the Trial Period once for the same Application (including updated versions). If you subsequently purchase the same Application (including updated versions) which you had previously downloaded but cancelled during the Trial Period, you will be charged the license purchase price immediately and no refunds will be allowed. After the Trial Period (if applicable), ALL SALES OF APPLICATIONS AND IN-APP CONTENT IN THE STORE ARE FINAL, with the following exceptions:

i. If Intel does not make the Application available for download by you within a reasonable period of time after completion of the purchase, Intel will, in its sole discretion, either replace your order (by making the Application available for download) or arrange for your purchase price to be refunded.

ii. If, within 30 days of your purchase, Intel disables the operation of the Application (other than for breach of an applicable agreement by you) and does not make available within a reasonable period a replacement to such Application, Intel will arrange for the Application’s purchase price to be refunded to you.

iii. If Intel is required by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction to offer additional refund or warranty rights, Intel will provide such remedies as required pursuant to such laws and, where permitted, Intel may elect to provide one or more alternative remedies (such as refund, credit, re-performance of services, or re-provision of Application or alternative Application).

If any of the above situations occur, you must tell us as soon as possible using Intel’s online support page at the Intel AppUp® center Support Center or through the “help” links in the Intel AppUp client software or through the “contact us” link in your invoice. If the poor download is caused by the AppUp Client or the Store and cannot be resolved, a refund may be provided

This helps to ensure you are not installing applications which have not been validated to work with your operating system.

2. You may be expecting to see all of you applications in the main "View All" window of My Apps. By default, applications on a new system are listed in "Pending Downloads" vs. automatically being installed. This allows you to see all the applications you have purchased for the supported OS, but only install the ones you want to use on the specific system.

3. When installing the Intel AppUp(R) center on a new system and signing into an existing user account, your applications may take a few minutes to synchronize from the backend store. Keep checking your pending downloads (hint: you may need to click the "more" link to see all of you apps) until all of the apps supported by your operating system are present. You may need to restart your client if all of you applications don't synchronize with a few minutes.

01.10.2011

Q.
