What is the Intel Xeon Processor 5500 Series (codenamed Nehalem)?

Intel's next-generation 2-socket server & workstation Xeon processor based on the Nehalem microarchitecture. Followon product to the Intel Xeon 5400 processor (codenamed Harpertown), which is based on Intel Core microarchitecture.

For My 3D Studio Max Works as per discussion with Intel's Executive;
I have purchased Intel based Desktop with this configuration:
Bios Version: S5000.86B.11.00.0096
Date:13/01/2009
Processor : Intel Xeon E5410 2.33 GHz
Motherboard : S5000 XVN Sata
Hard Disk : 1000 GB 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache
Memory : Transcend 2 GB ECC Fully Buffered DDR2 667 FSB X 4 Nos.
Chassis : Intel 5275 Chassis
For Rs.123,000/-

Same time I have purchased AMD Based Desktop with following config.
AMD Phenom™ X4 Quad-Core 2.2 GHz Black Edition
Asus motherboard
HDD: 500GB 2Nos
Memory: Transsend 2GB 4Nos.
For Rs.54000/-

The Problem is INTEL Workstation is Working Twice Slower Than AMD Machine. Why this is happening? Is Xeon not working at true speed? Is your xeon showing fake speed of 2.33GHz?
If anybody is expert Solve this challenging problem. If you cant solve then please tell me where to go?
